Compassionate Justice Series Event

Hi there,

Please see information below regarding an event being hosted by Eglinton St. George:

The speaker on Sunday January 20th will be Robert Clarke, former senior officer with Correctional Services Canada.

The title of his presentation is: Canada’s Federal Prisons:   What Needs To Be Fixed.

Drawing on his 30 years of service in Canada’s Federal prisons, Robert will offer an honest and clear view of how we treat those incarcerated in our prisons – how prison staff perform their duties and prisoners learn to survive in this environment. His career spanned a wide range of leadership roles serving latterly as the Deputy Warden of the Kingston Penitentiary. Robert is the author of Down Inside: Thirty years in Canada’s Prison Service.

Please see the Globe ad below for detail.

Admission is free and a light lunch will be served for all attendees prior to our 12:30 start time.

Feel free to pass this on to others who may have an interest.
